Veramar Celebrates Great Wines Yet Again with Five New Medals.
Virginia (PRWEB) August 20, 2003 -- Veramar Vineyard, for the second time, has been awarded a medal for all of the wines entered in this international competition. 100% of Veramar wines entered into competition have won an award. This is a clean sweep for Veramar Vineyard in one of the United States largest International wine competitions. Veramar Vineyard wines competed with 3,300 wines from 15 countries that the 2003 Indy International brought to this international wine event.
According to Veramar Vineyard owner James Bogaty, This is a huge achievement" that proves the ability of Virginia-based vineyards to produce world-class wines." It marks the second year of trophy-winning Veramar wine in as many years. We are forging a reputation and gaining a lot of credibility for Virginia and in particular Veramar wines," said Jim Bogaty.
The Veramar whites, 2002 Tres Blanc & Seyval Blanc each received Silver medals at this years Indy International Wine Competition at Purdue University. Further, Veramar 2002 Chardonnay and two of Veramars reds, the 2002 Cabernet Franc, and 2002 Norton also won Bronze medals.

Veramar has won a Gold, Silver or Bronze Award for the Veramar Chardonnay at the Virginia Governors cup, Vinifera Association, Indy International Wine Competition, and the Virginia State Fair Wine Competition. Veramar Chardonnay also, has been awarded the Jefferson Cup Invitational Certificate of American Merit.
Completing the exciting result for Veramar Vineyard - Bronze Awards given to Veramar Chambourcin, at the Virginia Governors cup, The Vinifera Association and the Indy International Wine Competition. In addition, Veramar Tres Blanc NV has won the Bronze medal at the Virginia Governors cup, Gold at Vinifera Association & Silver at Indy International. Also, this years Indy, both the Veramar Norton and Cabernet Franc have added additional Bronze medals to Veramars winnings. Further, Veramar Cabernet Franc won Bronze at the Vinifera Association.
