Dallas, TX: Hundreds of Americans visit AmericasBestKitchens.com everyday. They come to submit their favorite recipes to see if their kitchen might be certified as one of AmericaÂs Best. They enter a recipe, wait for the judges to get around to grading it and if selected theyÂre sent a medal with ribbon and a framed certificate. It doesnÂt them a thing to enter or you a thing to feature it in your publication or media outlet.
Each week, one recipe will be selected to represent AmericaÂs Best Kitchen of the Week.
This recipe will be featured in a syndicated format and offered to Food Editors for inclusion into their publications for no charge or obligation.
The AmericaÂs Best Kitchen of the Week syndicated feature is about the size of the daily crossword (including the clues). If the recipe selected comes from a resident of your community then your publication receives an extra large feature (possibly including photo) in addition to the standard size one.
AmericaÂs Best Kitchens is the brainchild of Cathy Leslie. WhoÂs she? SheÂs a legal secretary in Dallas. SheÂs also someone with a genuine passion for great food and the people who prepare it. Cathy has sold numerous CD Cookbooks, e-cookbooks and has won many awards for her culinary skills in competitions.
One day, while watching Emeril on TV, it occurred to her that the real heroes of the kitchen in this country arenÂt doing it in front of a camera. TheyÂre doing it in front of their spouses, kids, families and friends. Day in and day out they make dinners and desserts, breakfasts and occasional lunches.
Every single one of these people has at least one dish theyÂre particularly proud of. As the aroma filters through and fills the home, everyone smiles. ÂMom (or Dad) is making (whatever). When they serve this dish, the eyes and the smiles of their family are all the ÂBAM they need.
These are the recipes AmericaÂs Best Kitchens wants to see. These are the people AmericaÂs Best Kitchens want to acknowledge ---- each week in a feature offered to any media outlet interested at no charge.
