About the Author
Renná Bruce was born in Rivers, Manitoba and traveled across Canada with her military family during her childhood. She graduated from Ryerson in Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts degree and she has published in poetry, creative writing, short stories and newspaper reporting. She has also been a copywriter, broadcaster and account manager for radio. Renná currently lives in Guelph, Ontario with her husband and son.

About the Illustrator
Robin Oakes was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario. She began teaching cartooning classes which evolved into a full time teaching job. She pursued various teaching jobs throughout schools, galleries and community centres. When not illustrating, she does murals for various companies and enjoys producing her fine art. She also entertains with caricatures of people in her spare time. She still lives in Kitchener with her husband and two daughters.
