August, 2003 -- Author V. Anthony Rivers and Strebor Books International are excited to announce the release of Rivers' sophomoric effort: "Everybody Got Issues," a novel about office politics, relationships, desires, and the awful realization that friendships within the workplace require a balancing act between defined boundaries and self restraint!

"Everybody Got Issues" is an often hilarious and sometimes edgy look at three individuals who never seem to get enough turmoil in their lives: Avonte' Douglas's only interest is to rise to the top. He uses his friendships within the workplace as stepping stones to greener pastures; Ina Sinclair is professional, cultured and consumed with the fact that she believes a management position at Montaqua Publications is owed to her, but it's her discovery of how to have fun that keeps her standing in perpetual motion, wondering what possesses her to do what she does; and Nakia Davidson, a young woman with goals, dreams and the motivation of a young child to keep her going. She discovers a new life for herself simply by joining the workforce. She'd never in her wildest dreams expects to receive a crash course in the realness of folks whose main goal is to please only them selves.

Currently residing in Van Nuys, California, V. Anthony Rivers is the author of "Daughter By Spirit" and "Somewhere Between Love & Sarcasm," a short story featured in the anthology, "Sistergirls.com". He's also a featured writer for the e-zine, "The Nubian Chronicles" and is looking forward to the
opportunity of contributing more great stories to the literary field.

"Everybody Got Issues" was a labor of love in that it allowed Rivers to display his comedic side as well as his serious side and have fun with characters whose personalities mirrored certain individuals he's met in his own life. It's amazing how even when the negative can be avoided, human nature causes us to run right to it. Rivers is hoping that readers everywhere will run and spread the word about his new novel.

People will definitely be talking about this book because not only can they relate to the main characters, but they can also stand up and testify to the title, "Everybody Got Issues!" Go get your copy today at any bookstores, or at online outlets such as Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
