InfoEdge Technology Announces Change in Ownership; Company Specializes in Litigation Discovery Management Solutions

Austin, TX (PRWEB) August 25, 2003 -- InfoEdge Technology, Inc., a nationwide discovery management and litigation support firm, today announced a change in management resulting from the sale of the company. The InfoEdge Technology name will be retained, as will the majority of the companys senior management. Details of the transaction have not been disclosed, as InfoEdge continues to be privately held.

Chris May, President of InfoEdge since 2001, has assumed the role of CEO of the company. Its a relatively new name for it, but discovery management has been InfoEdges forte for over a decade," said May. Advances in technology - particularly the advent of the Web - have dramatically changed the nature of litigation. Weve stayed true to our mission to apply leading-edge technologies in delivering responsive, flexible and cost-effective litigation support solutions to our clients."

May added, Litigators operate in a dynamic, demand-driven environment. They have very little control over their deadlines. Our ability to meet our clients objectives in this environment will remain our focus. The excitement and satisfaction in our business arise from the challenge of designing and providing top-notch outsourcing services."

Bill Detamore, who has served as CFO and Director of Administration at InfoEdge since 2001, has taken on the additional role of Director of Business Development. I am convinced that applying technology to the discovery process can significantly improve the quality of our representation. Many lawyers are taking advantage of new and more efficient solutions," noted Detamore, an attorney with six years of commercial litigation experience.

He went on to add, Weve proven that corporate law departments and their outside counsel firms can realize enormous savings and productivity gains from a long-range, strategic approach to discovery management."

May holds a degree in Economics from the University of Texas. Under his technological guidance, in 1999 InfoEdge released InfoDox, one of the first Web-enabled document repository solutions designed specifically for the litigation environment.

Detamore holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma, and is also a graduate of the University of Texas. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Oklahoma, the American Corporate Counsel Association and the Defense Research Institute.
