CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERISITY SACRAMENTO ALUMNI ASSOCIATION NAMES JACQUI MARCHESSINI EVENT MANAGER for the CSUS ALUMNI CENTER

California State University Sacramento has hired seasoned event professional, Jacqui Marchessini as Event Manager for the CSUS Alumni Center. Mrs. Marchessini will be responsible for all Alumni Center activities, events and facility rentals.

(PRWEB) August 24, 2003 -- California State University Sacramento has hired seasoned event professional, Jacqui Marchessini as Event Manager for the CSUS Alumni Center. Mrs. Marchessini will be responsible for all Alumni Center activities, events and facility rentals.

Mrs. Marchessini brings with her 10 years experience in planning private, public and social events as well as local and national tradeshows. She has held a variety of event positions with corporations and non-profit organization throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Most notably Ms. Marchessini held the position of Museum Event Coordinator for the San Jose Museum of Art, in San Jose, California where she was responsible for event sales and coordination of SJMA events including the most recent exhibit opening night reception Surf Culture, The Art History of Surfing" as well as a community-oriented outdoor "Surf Shindig" which attracted over 3000 visitors.

Marchessini is an active participant in the International Society of Special Events and the Association for Wedding Professionals International.

The mission of the CSUS Alumni Association is to enhance interaction among alumni, students, the community and the University.

The San Jose Museum of Art and its educational programs are supported by the City of San Jose; the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency; the Arts Commission, City of San Jose; the California Arts Council; the William Randolph Hearst Education Endowment; the David and Lucile Packard Foundation; the Koret Foundation; and Museum members.
