Touring Club Switzerland launches traffic information system developed by Sigma and deployed on Voxpilots pan-European platform

Olten, Dublin; August 25, 2003 --Touring Club Switzerland has recently launched a service for motorists travelling on Switzerlands national and regional roads: by dialling the number 163, they now have access to the latest traffic information in German, French and Italian, Switzerlands three official languages.

This traffic information service enables motorists to plan their travel route, find out about traffic jams and road works, and monitor the situation on mountain passes. The service, developed by the leading Swiss provider of IT- and voice solutions, Sigma, is hosted on Voxpilots pan-European VoiceXML gateway.
