GOOD NEWS: 'ESC' Eliminating Spam in Community
Edmonton, Alberta -- August, 2003 -- Email is a powerful communication medium for individuals and businesses. However, unsolicited commercial email (spam) is undermining email's usefulness and viability. Spam intrudes upon individual's privacy by forcing unwanted materials into our mailboxes.
Costs of receiving spam include:
Lost of productivity and waste of disk storages.
Communication Inefficiency.
Spam is polluting our community
The impact of spam is not restricted only to business costs. Spam becomes a main factor of cultural pollution. Nowadays, Some of the spams contain abusive languages or images. Some are porno-related and even have links to their sites. Over 4.4 billion Canadian dollars annual global revenue had been generated by pornography scam in 2002, and the market is still growing. This abusive and porno-related material is dangerous to society and creates a very harmful effect to childhood development.
Existing anti-spam technology cannot help community
Most existing anti-spam technologies in the market failed to come up with effective solution. They are expensive and need active participation and responsibilities on the end-user side. Many communities, subject to budget and technology constraint, cannot afford anti-spam solution in the market.
Gennux offers help
Facing this situation, Gennux Microsystems Corporation, a Canadian computer software company in Edmonton, developed a new generation method that eliminates spam in a more efficient and reliable way. This method, unlike existing product which requires content filtering, guarantees complete security and privacy.
Gennux is now proposing an 'ESC' program, a program designed to help Alberta communities 'escape' from spam and enjoy free-spam email environment. Under 'ESC', all installation or on-going maintenance costs will be absolutely free.
