America's Most Wanted Female Author

After a career in the Seattle Police Department, which included a shoot out at a Wells Fargo Bank and a subsequent appearance on America's Most Wanted, G.A. Hauser decided that a career change was in order. "In The Shadow Of Alexander" is her first published novel and is the result of that change.

In June 2000 G.A.Hauser was the primary responding officer to the scene of an armed bank robbery at a Wells Fargo Bank in Seattle, Washington. One of her colleagues was shot twice at point blank range and one of the suspects was shot dead by police, whilst the second suspect escaped to the Caribbean.

The officer survived but as a result of the second suspect escaping Ms. Hauser appeared on America's Most Wanted. The second suspect has now been arrested and is currently serving a prison sentence.

Needless to say, this life threatening incident led Ms. Hauser to seek a career without the dangers associated with being a police officer. Her first book is the result of that career change. Ms. Hauser has also recently signed a two book deal with Unbound Books of California.

"In The Shadow Of Alexander" is a fiction story set around the life of Alexander The Great and told from the perspective of one of his soldiers, Thessius.
