New Far East representative office

Fast growing housewares brand the Home Valet Company has opened a branch office in Taiwan for managing new and existing suppliers across the region.

The office, in the centre of Taipeis business district, was opened by Ray Diss, Managing Director of parent company RDi, on a visit to the region earlier this month.

Mr Diss sourced many new products for the Home Valet range while in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China, including an innovative wet mop for hard floors and a drain blaster for clearing blocked drains, both products he is convinced are more advanced than anything similar on the UK market.

Relationships were established with several new manufacturers while existing ties were strengthened with others during the visit.

Mr Diss said: We have been looking to open a base in the region for some time and the new Taiwan office should enable us to ease regional language problems and provide us with strong local knowledge to speed up sourcing and shipping and secure our continued growth in the UK and US."
