nCode Introduces ICE-flow Studioä For Faster, Easier, Better Test/CAE Reporting

SOUTHFIELD, MI (PRWEB) August, 2003 --- nCode International has introduced ICE-flow Studio, a powerful tool that enables anyone to develop comprehensive engineering reports easily and quickly.

Studio allows multiple sets of CAE results and/or multichannel test data to be interactively combined on a single page and exported as a report in Microsoft Word or HTML. Open to data from most CAE and testing systems, it enables reports in a pre-defined template that the user can quickly design or modify.

nCode International, the leading global provider of durability software, services and systems, introduced ICE-flow in May 2003. Developed in conjunction with several automotive and truck suppliers in the USA and Europe, ICE-flow provides an end-to-end process solution for applications where massive amounts of test data must be acquired, validated, processed, and distributed in a traceable way.

Accurate reporting can save days on a test or analysis downstream in the process, influencing future design efficiency," says Mark Przeslawski, Studio product manager. ICE-flow Studio simplifies the data-to-documentation process."

Reports can incorporate multi-test, multichannel datasets with a mouse-click. All axis limits can be scaled and labels automatically assigned for each trace. Users can add company logos and digital images to format a report exactly as required. Studio also is seamlessly compatible with other nCode tools, including nSoft, FlowBuilder, and the SoMat data acquisition systems. Users can work locally or via the Internet.

The optional Studio FE Display plug-in enables users to view multiple FE models from NASTRAN, ABAQUS, ANSYS, and other standard formats, all on the same page. It is particularly suited to showing the results of a fatigue analysis. FE Display enables full dynamic manipulation of model view, and full control of display features such as mesh color, transparency, perspective, and lighting. Not only does the module provide a portal to access the data from the various FE packages, it is often much more feature-rich in its report generation capabilities than the original FE program.
