CHICAGO AD EXEC JOINS TUCSONS MORET ADVERTISING.

Alan Alexander, formerly vice president/managing partner of the Chicago office of DDB Worldwide, Inc. (previously known as Doyle Dane Bernbach), has joined Moret Advertising as Director of Agency Services, it has been announced by Rich Moret, president of the Tucson advertising agency.

TUCSON, AA (PRWEB) August 28, 2003 -- Alan Alexander, formerly vice president/managing partner of the Chicago office of DDB Worldwide, Inc. (previously known as Doyle Dane Bernbach), has joined Moret Advertising as Director of Agency Services, it has been announced by Rich Moret, president of the Tucson advertising agency.

In his new position Alexander will oversee the quality of all aspects of the agency as well as develop new business.   He has been in marketing and advertising more than 25 years. After receiving a B.A. in advertising from Michigan State University, he worked for Leo Burnett Advertising in Chicago for five years before joining DDB as an account executive. During his starting a 20 years with the firm he rose to executive vice president and account director and eventually managing partner.

While with DDB developed ad strategies, branding, new products and marketing communications for such consumer brands as Yoplait, Frito-Lay, and Halsa Hair Care. He authored a Betty Crocker Brand Platform, which now stands as Bible" for the brand, establishing key values and coordinating advertising approach of four separate Betty Crocker divisions. He was involved in signing Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Joe Montana as Wheaties Champions."

Alexander served as point person for DDBs new business efforts, helping secure Heinz Ketchup business for agency. He was also Chicago leader of DDB University, DDBs professional development program, and served as lead instructor for DDB Universitys branding curriculum.
