Citrus Controls announces MATLAB interface for its AmirusMM software
reflective memory system.
Citrus Controls has developed an interface which allows MATLAB users to define variables in AmirusMM shared memory. This allows users to easily integrate MATLAB analysis codes with data which is created or used elsewhere.
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) August 29, 2003 -- Citrus Controls today announced the release of a MATLAB interface for its software reflective memory product. The interface allows MATLAB interactive commands and scripts to define variables in shared memory, which are then accessible to other computers through AmirusMM software reflective memory.
The interface enables AmirusMM users to utilize the power of MATLAB on data which is produced or used elsewhere. AmirusMM allows up to 32 computer systems to share up to 64 Mbytes of data with millisecond latency, using standard networking components. Data access is serialized through the AmirusMMdistributed lock manager.
"By providing this interface with AmirusMM, we provide a simple low-cost mechanism for customers to integrate diverse data sources with the interactive graphical MATLAB environment." said Dr. Tony Cox, Citrus Controls president. "We will be announcing additional third-party interfaces in the coming months designed to simplify data integration in distributed systems".
The MATLAB interface is packaged with version 1.1 of AmirusMM, availablenow for WindowsNT/2000/XP. AmirusMM is licensed for new usersat $599 per node, which includes comprehensive network management, diagnostic, and test utilities. An optional hardware bridging license is available for $200.
