LONSDORF HONORED AS WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI"
R&J Group President John Lonsdorf was recently recognized by William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey for his outstanding business accomplishments and community service.
Parsippany, NJ (PRWEB) September 2, 2003 --- John P. Lonsdorf, president of the R&J Group, one of New Jerseys leading advertising, public relations and e-business agencies, was recently honored by the William Paterson University Alumni Association with their 2003 Distinguished Alumni Award." Lonsdorf was presented with the award in recognition of his accomplishments in business, professional development and community service.
A 1979 graduate of the university with a B.A. in Communications, Lonsdorf was one of five recipients honored, representing the universitys College of Arts and Communication. Lonsdorf founded R&J in 1986, and is recognized as a leader within New Jerseys advertising and public relations circles. He was a founding director of the New Jersey Association of Advertising Agencies, and is an active member of the New Jersey Advertising Club, the Public Relations Society of America, and the New Jersey Communications, Advertising and Marketing Association.
Active in his community, Lonsdorf serves on the board of trustees of Integrity, Inc., a residential substance abuse treatment community, and is the secretary/treasurer of the Integrity Foundation. He is also a member of the board of trustees of the William Paterson Foundation, and coaches youth soccer, basketball and softball in his hometown of Bridgewater, New Jersey.
