JOBBERS WORLD; A PLATFORM FOR LUBRICANT JOBBERS TO BE HEARD

Lubricant Jobbers face challenging times

METUCHEN, NJ (PRWEB) September 3, 2003 -- LNG Publishing Co. Inc. and Petroleum Trends International, Inc. announced today their plans to publish the first and only independent newsletter to focus on the business of lubricant jobbers. The newsletter, Jobbers World is scheduled to make its debut October 1 and promises to make the industry stand up and take notice.

According to Thomas F. Glenn, president of Petroleum Trends International, and editor of Jobbers World, the newsletter will tackle some very tough issues and provide lubricant jobbers with a platform to be heard without being hurt." Glenn notes this independent voice for lubricant jobbers is much needed in a business where jobbers are often afraid to express opinions for fear that they will be marked as 'uncooperative, or not aligned, or worse yet, cut off from supply."

In addition to tackling the more contentious issues, Jobbers World will present high value news and industry information about the lubricant distribution business, including retail and wholesale pricing information, surveys and analysis of jobber needs, insights into best practices, benchmarks, and business trends and opportunities.

According to information pulled from the data rich Information Center at Jobbers Worlds website http://www.jobbersworld.com, lubricant distributors (also known as jobbers) sell close to 50% of the lubricants consumed in the United States. In addition, with direct sales, buy backs, and other agreements taken into consideration, distributors deliver over 75% of the total lubricant moved from the manufacturer to the end users, and this number is growing.

Jobbers clearly are a vital part of the lubricant value chain and Jobbers World will be a valuable resource to help them compete and grow.
