Lyon, France September 1, 2003 --- Small and medium sized companies looking to secure their network will benefit from a new operating system called BOSS (Backup Operating system). BOSS is a modular, Linux based operating system that features redundant automated backups & global network protection.

Developed by Intradot Labs, BOSS auto-installs on all PC compatible servers. It is designed to automate the backup of a companys data and to secure the entire network while being remotely supervised. BOSS integrates seamlessly onto any existing TCP/IP network composed of 2 to 200 workstations. BOSS works with all SMB/CIFS compatible operating system (all Windows, Unix, Linux, Max Os X...); it does not require the installation of programs or agent on the company's workstations to work. Once configured and connected to the network, a server using BOSS is immediately operational.
