It doesnt bring talents together from different genres in order to widen it self. When you really listen to the music, most of it sounds the same and it appears as though that the gatekeepers of hip-hop are ignoring the obvious or they are not going to do anything about it until its too late. And in case the gatekeepers have forgotten, hip-hop was started on the streets and by the streets and this is the only platform by which most of urban America can express themselves. That fact alone makes hip-hop worth saving.
