NHBC Adopts FileTrail for Records Management in UK

World's leading warranty and insurance provider adopts FileTrail software for tracking and managing records.

Northampton, UK -- August 29, 2003 Cave Tab plc, distributor of FileTrail software in the UK, announces a new contract to supply FileTrail software to NHBC (National House-Building Council).

NHBC is the world's leading warranty and insurance provider for new homes, offering a range of warranty and insurance services. Over 18,000 house builders who construct approximately 85 per cent of the new homes built each year in the UK are registered with NHBC. NHBC inspectors carry out over half a million key stage inspections on new homes under construction every year.

NHBC has been a customer of Cave Tab plc, for many years, and have used FileTracker software for tracking their records for a number of years and are very keen to progress to a web-based solution. NHBC will utilize FileTrail software in conjunction with an MS SQL Server database to automate labeling and creation of file folders, automate file room tasks and track folder locations for easy access.

The contract has been negotiated by Cave Tab Key Account Manager, Bernard Moule with technical support from IT Manager, Warren Doherty.
