CLAYTON, NC -- September, 2003 -- Artistic Lifestyling is a relatively new program that helps clients create living spaces from an artistic perspective, using art and artisan services. It is less about formal interior decorating and design and more about incorporating special artistic elements that have meaning to people personally. The concept creator is Lise Richards of Clayton, NC. With added inspiration from local designer/artist, Sherry Mitchell, Artistic Lifestyling is now available to local and residents and business owners.
With Artistic Lifestyling clients can add grace and a sense of style to interior and exterior spaces. Artistic Lifestylists specialize in creating focal points of original art, sculpture, textile art, mosaics, and hand-made/hand-painted furniture.
Lise Richards is an Artistic Lifestylist and owner of The Creativity Center, Inc, and Red Door Gallery. Her personal mission is to inspire creativity among children and adults, provide opportunities for people to create art, help develop and promote artists, and provide many opportunities for enjoyment of the arts.
Lise has written articles for numerous websites and has published e-books on the arts and creative living. As an Artistic Lifestylist, Lise is responsible for helping her clients create spaces they love to live in using original art and accessories. She has a flair for adding creative touches to personal spaces using original artwork. Lise believes that art should be accessible to all people, and her approach to helping her clients overcome the apprehension of art collecting makes her a rare find in the art world.
Peace Creative, owned by Sherry Mitchell, is the first creative company to be certified and provide the Artistic Lifestyling services. Sherry has been a designer and artist for the past 5 years. While acting as a marketing professional in the Raleigh area, Sherry continued to grow her design business with many local mural, original painting commissions and interior design solutions. She will now expand her offerings to that of an Artistic Lifestylist. If you are interested in having Peace Creative quote the creation of a space for you contact Sherry at sherry@peacecreative.com or call 696-8791.
