ANNIE GET YOUR GUN now playing at the WELK RESORT SAN DIEGO

The recent Broadway Revival version of ANNIE GET YOUR GUN is now playing at the WELK RESORT THEATRE in Escondido, California through November 8, 2003.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
     September 1, 2003

The WELK RESORT THEATRE presents San Diegos very own Joy Yandell as Annie Oakley
in Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun, also starring, direct from
the national tour, Andrew Husmann as Frank Butler. Featuring John Richard Petersen as Charlie Davenport, Susan Bell as Dolly Tate, John Schull as Colonel Buffalo Bill and Jeffrey Arnold Wolf as Chief Sitting Bull. With direction and choreography by Jon
Engstrom and a brand new book by Peter Stone (Titanic), based on the
original by Herbert and Dorothy Fields.

Annie Get Your Gun is the highly fictionalized story of Annie Oakley,
one of the world's most famous sharpshooters. The original Broadway
production starred Ethel Merman in the title role and Bernadette Peters in
the recent Broadway revival. The story celebrates Annie's stormy,
competitive relationship with Frank Butler, a dashing vaudeville marksman,
as they tour the country as the stars of "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show."

With a score written by legendary composer Irving Berlin, Annie Get
Your Gun features some of the best songs ever written for the musical
theater stage, including: "There's No Business Like Show Business," "I Got
the Sun in the Morning," "Doin' What Comes Natur'lly," "You Can't Get a Man
With a Gun," "They Say It's Wonderful," and "Anything You Can Do."

This hoop-hollerin' musical adventure is directed and choreographed by
Drama-Logue and Robby Award winner Jon Engstrom. The creative team for Annie
Get Your Gun also includes new book material by Peter Stone, Musical
Direction by Justin Gray, Set Design by Andrew Hammer, Costume Design by
Ambra Wakefield and David Heckman, lighting design by Jennifer Edwards,
sound design by Patrick Hoyny and Sean Coogan is the producer.

Annie Get Your Gun plays Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings at 8
p.m. with matinees being performed Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
and Sunday at 1:45 p.m. Theatre tickets are available with or without the
lunch or dinner buffet. For tickets and information call 1-888-802-7469 or
