Long Beach Branch NAACP 1st Annual Back to School Rally September 12, 2003

Long Beach Branch Naacp in Long Beach , NY (Nassau County , Long Island ) Is holding a Back to School rally on Friday September 12th from 6pm - 9pm.

Keynote Speaker Dr. Patrick Graham

September, 2003 -- The evening will be filled with Music , Food , Entertainment , Honors for local children who have excelled. Inspirational speakers and other not for profit orgainizations will be present included local governmental officals.

It is the Local Branch's goal to recognize the children in the community who are excelling in school and to inspire families, children and community members to take an active part in pursuing educational excellence.

Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Patrick Graham, a graduate of Long Beach High School and a past director of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center of Long Beach.
