PHILADELPHIA, PA -- September, 2003 -- If you missed evoluers recent launch party at the African American Cultural & Historical Museum, it was better than anyone could anticipate. The evenings activities included a makeover of two of the queens of Philadelphia radio, on-air personality Patty Jackson (WDAS-FM) and News and Public Affairs Director for Philadelphia Clear Channel Radio, Loraine Ballard Morrill. Ballard and Jackson debuted their new look at the launch party.

For Loraine Ballard Morrill, its time for a change. She recently received a promotion at Clear Channel Radio. Once director of News and Public Affairs at WUSL-FM (Power 99), Ballard Morrill now oversees operations for six Philadelphia Clear Channel Stations. The evoluer style team decided on a look for Ballard Morrill, that said, Sex in the City."

Sporting a fluffy Macy Gray-type afro was on-air personality Patty Jackson. For her, evoluer decided on a hip look for the working mom.
   
While some might consider image make-overs light-weight entertainment, evoluer creative director, Cheryl Ann Wadlington stresses that the way one looks is serious stuff. No matter how you flip it, society does judge you by appearance," she said. And first impression is usually the one that sticks." More than 200 special guests attended the launch party -- produced by Phoebe Coles, of the public relations/marketing firm of Community Marketing Concepts -- and toasted evoluer. Now, the evolution has begun.

Evoluer Image Consultants has been featured on NBC-TV 10s Moms on the Move, CN8s Your Morning, WYBEs Philly Live and in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Tribune, Philadelphia Sunday Sun as well as an upcoming issue of Philly Style magazine.
