New York literary agent and prize-winning author to visit area for annual Chesapeake Romance Writers conference in November.
Mary Sue Seymour of the Seymour Literary agency is seeking new clients in the romance, non-fiction and genre book areas. She will be taking appointments with published and non-published authors in November.

Agent appointments will be available with Mary Sue Seymour of the Seymour Literary Agency. Founded in 1991, the agency has sold many multi-book deals to Harlequin, Berkley/Jove, Dutton/Signet, Bantam, Dorchester, Kensington and other large publishing houses.
Chandra Sparks of the Sparks Agency, former editor of BET & Kensington, will give pointers on self-editing and talk about what publishers look for in new submissions.
Attorney Lauren D. Jones, of the Maryland State Bar Assoc., counsel for musicians, writers, singers and others geared to the arts and entertainment industry will be giving her very popular and informative workshop on literary contracts.
Tori Phillips, prize-winning author of four plays and ten historical novels that have appeared in more than a million printed copies, will address the invisible wall between published and unpublished writers.
