Different New Web Site Launched for South Florida Jobs and Job Search Tips ... http://www.freewebs.com/floridajobs/

With hundreds, even thousands of career-oriented, temp, and plain-vanilla job search sites on the web, South Florida technical writer David Citron has created a new and different independent site concentrating on the Fort Lauderdale area. South Florida, (PRWEB) September 5, 2003 --With hundreds, even thousands of job search sites on the web, why did South Florida technical writer David Citron create a different new one, the South Florida Jobs web site at http://www.freewebs.com/floridajobs/ ?

"The independent South Florida Jobs web site has a little bit of everything, and it's concentrated mostly on Broward County -- the Greater Fort Lauderdale area," explains Citron. Plus Boca Raton, the birthplace of the IBM PC. "But it's not sponsored by any publication, organization, or employer, so it can be either impartial or opinionated when it wants to."

The South Florida Jobs web site features job-searching tips (like don't send out resumes with your employer's postage meter), and information about career-related publications. And there are links to employer and organization web sites, plus a calendar of upcoming local job fairs. "The site is growing every week" boasts Citron, who created a similar site in 1999.

Citron, a freelance reporter and copywriter in his spare time, has, like many, experienced the economic slowdown and the consequent increase in unwanted, unpaid spare time. So he decided to update his resource list and put it online, a revived, more streamlined version of his late 20th century site, South Florida Job Search Resource.

"Remember," adds Citron, "I'm a writer and I'm looking, too!" Citron has created software user manuals for several Fortune 500 companies and has also written for newspapers, magazines, and trade journals.

He created his first web site, the South Florida Radio Pages, the most comprehensive resource about radio programming in south Florids, in 1995. It's still growing, with many specialized areas about South Florida radio. Visit it at http://www.univox.com/radio.
