EXPERTise goes live on Haskell Internet site
New Haskell program provides expert sources for media
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - EXPERTise has arrived.
But, what is EXPERTise, you ask? Put simply, its a new Haskell program created to provide expert sources for local, state and national media stories.
Haskell public relations coordinator David Payne said through the program, press releases will be sent to news media providing background information on certain Haskell employees.
These employees will be well versed in certain topics, such as civil engineering or interior design, and will be available as professional sources for news stories or related projects.
Payne said the program was created not only to recognize Haskell employees but as a way to give back to the community.
Haskell has a lot of resources within its walls," he said. We saw this as another opportunity to take the greatest of those resources, our employees, and share their knowledge with the public."
And, in case a company doesnt receive or misplaces a release on a Haskell source, the companys Web site will also have the information, Payne said.
In fact, a new Web page has been added to the Haskell site for this subject at www.thehaskellco.com/expertise.asp.
Haskells chief structural engineer, Tom Grogan, will be the programs first source, available to answer questions about hurricanes and storms in relation to their effects on commercial and industrial structures.
Payne said additional sources would continually be added to the Web page.
Haskell is recognized as one of the nations leading design-build and construction management firms with annual revenues of $650 million. Haskell maintains operations throughout the United States and Latin America and is headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla. More information can be found at www.thehaskellco.com.
