October 4, 2003 = RegDay 2003
RegDay (rej-day)is a day to register with the International Soundex Reunion Registry (ISRR) the oldest (since 1975) and largest mutual consent registry.
This year the North Carolina Coalition for Adoption Reform (NCCAR) is proud to work along with the Adoption Registration Coalition (ARC) in promoting the ninth annual RegDay.
There will be sites all around North Carolina, for people who have lost touch with someone either by divorce, adoption, military or any other means to come and register with ISRR.
Volunteers from NCCAR will be at Borders Books in Chapel Hill, North Raleigh, Greensboro, Winston Salem and Charlotte. Other volunteers will be at Books-A-Million stores in Rocky Mount, Burlington, Fayetteville and Wilmington. These sites will be operated from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
If you would like to volunteer for one of the above sites, to help with RegDay, then visit our website (http://adoptionreform-nc.org) for the names of contacts for the individual sites.
For the address of a specific site, please go to www.regday.org, or contact Roberta MacDonald at nccar@mindspring.com
