THE DINGMAN CENTER ENTREPRENEUR INVITATIONAL FEATURES $1 MILLION SHOOTOUT
Hole-In-One Wins $1 Million 40-Year Annuity
College Park, MD (PRWEB) September 7, 2003 -- Recognizing the popularity of golf and the benefits of doing business on the golf course, invitations to The Dingman Center Entrepreneur Invitational are extended to presidents and CEO's of high-growth venture businesses, as well as principals of firms that provide services to entrepreneurs.
WHO: The Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship offers innovative services and events to fulfill its mission of helping entrepreneurs develop successful companies. The Dingman Center is one of seven centers for excellence established by the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland to foster research, education, and business community outreach programs.
WHAT: The Dingman Center will host The 11th Entrepreneur Invitational featuring the $1 Million Shootout, a unique and fun chipping contest and hole-in-one finale. Throughout the day, golfers will compete in a chipping contest on the practice putting green. The golfer who hits the closest-to-the-pin shot in the chipping contest will have a chance to win a $1 Million 40-year annuity by making a hole-in-one from 160 yards from the middle of the 18th hole during the cocktail party on the clubhouse patio.
WHERE: The Entrepreneur Invitational will be held at P.B. Dye Golf Club located at 9526 Dr. Perry Road, Ijamsville, Maryland.
WHEN: Wednesday, October 15, 2003 with welcome registration beginning at 10:30 a.m., lunch and a golf exhibition at 11:00 a.m., and shotgun start at 12:00 Noon.
WHY: The Entrepreneur Invitational will benefit the Dingman Centers Lamone Entrepreneur Scholars Program.
