A celebration and fundraising party for Monorail Board Candidate Cindi Laws will be held at the Seattle Glassblowing Studio on Friday, September 12, 2003 from 6:00 -- 10:00 PM. Watch live glassblowing and enjoy refreshments at a reception in this downtown studio and art gallery. This event will feature special guests and other surprises. A glass model of the Space Needle will be sculpted live from hot glass. Yard signs and posters will be available.

The event will be held at the Seattle Glassblowing Studio, 2227 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121. This is in the Belltown neighborhood of downtown Seattle, between Bell and Blanchard Streets under the 1962 Monorail. The studio can be reached at 206-448-2181. Suggested donations are $20 - $100 but donations of any amount will be accepted.
