Id always wanted to start an employment agency in which I could help candidates become well rounded professionals by teaching things like how to dress for success, customer service, not to chew gum at work (and certainly not while on the phone), etc -- skills not traditionally taught in school. When I first started my professional career, many of the employers I worked for on temporary assignments were impressed with my professionalism and skills. After I had completed one paralegal assignment, the employer called the agency and told them send me another temp just like MaShelle!" The employer ended up offering me a permanent position. I knew I had a viable business model and the business training and experience to make a celebrity lifestyle management firm work. So I started my research, reading everything I could on the industry. I used money from savings and small loans from family and friends that believed in me, rented office space in a prestigious midtown location, and marketed the business like crazy. This is truly the perfect business for me. It is a unique culmination of my creativity, psychology and legal training, and MBA in HR Management. I can truly say that I love this job!
