FREE ONLINE AUDITIONS" FOR SOUNDS
Have a knack or talent for creating characters and unique sounds? Is impromptu or odd creativity your forte? Then this free contest may have your name on it -- in lights.
Hollywood, CA September 9, 2003 -- Goodnight Kiss Music Productions is holding a free online addiction sounds" audio clip contest to accompany the release of their Grammy-entered, CD soundtrack: ADDICTION: Highs & Lows." Actors, actresses, potential Foley persons, or any person with a creative flair will find an outlet for their talent here.
Needed for the promotional are such things as a clip of a doctors" quote, people talking in various stages of chemical influence, any original sounds that seem to match the content of the existing Addiction CD. All creators of clips (chosen to be used) receive a CD, online acting credit, and there is a token cash award for the creator of the sound clip used most in the project.
Goodnight Kiss Music is a twenty-year old company based in Hollywood, California, but the contest is held online, and anyone may enter from around the globe, at no cost. Entrants simply fill out a simple form and submit a URL where their sound clip is posted. Because of potential viruses, attached files will not be accepted.
Anyone who enters a posted MP3, RealAudio, or WAV file that matches the request will be considered. Samples may be up to two minutes in length. Prizes include cash, CDs, and acting credit for the visual ADDICTIONS: Highs & Lows" project released later this year.
