"The passengers just kept staring at me! I know they were trying to see if I was afraid! Of course I was, I couldnt hide it! It was horrible! I couldnt stop crying! I tried to be brave and I tried to calm them, but I just couldnt"
In this excerpt she realizes her vulnerability as a flight attendant.
"Most frightening to me, were the means by which the hijackers gained access to the cockpit. They had murdered the flight attendants and passengers so the pilots opened the cockpit door to investigate the screams. As hard as I tried, I could not put that horrible thought out of my mind."
