Telops increases its presence in Europe

Quebec, Canada September 9, 2003 -- Telops Inc., a developer of high-end optical test equipment, has recently named Dave Hall as Sales Representative for the European market. This will mean an increased corporate presence for Telops in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Spain.

Based in Berkshire, United Kingdom, Mr. Hall has a strong technical background and a proven track record of working closely with customers in optoelectronics. He has a degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and has over than 20 years experience in test equipment design. Telops president, Jean Giroux, emphasizes that Mr. Hall will add his broad engineering expertise to our award-winning product line and innovative solutions. This is a partnership that is extremely promising, given his important experience and knowledge of the test equipment market."

Mr. Hall will be responsible of the sales of Telops advanced test systems, such as burn-in, lifetest and characterization stations, to the photonics manufacturing industry. Telops test stations can support chip-on-submount and various photonics packages including butterfly and bar array lasers. They also provide high drive currents and robust thermal management solutions for the next-generation of photonics devices.
