Experience an innovative and artistic fusion of original, classical and traditional music with just a touch of the blues!!!

Immediately prior to the opening of the art exhibit "Cathedral Life", on Friday, September 19, St. James' Cathedral in Toronto will present a short concert featuring the music of Moira Nelson (harp and voice) and Elena Jubinville (cello and voice).

The varied program will range from expressive instrumentals to dynamic a cappella harmonies and will include Moiras harp solo Moonfyre", recently released in Italy, together with a number of other original compositions and arrangements.

Copies of Moiras second CD, After the Fall", will be available at the performance. This recording features Moira Nelson (harp, voice, classical guitar and keyboards), Elena Jubinville (cello and voice), Kathryn Moses (flute and alto flute) and Rick Shadrach Lazar (percussion). Moira and Elena co-produced the album and all but two of the twelve selections are Moiras original compositions.

The concert takes place Friday, September 19, 2003, from 5:30 until 6:15 p.m. in the Meeting Room, of the St. James Cathedral Parish House, 65 Church Street, Toronto. The art exhibit, which opens in the Cathedral Archives & Museum, celebrates the 150th anniversary of the present cathedral.
Admission is free, but donations to the Archives and Museum would be welcomed.
