The CBI is to offer companies the chance to save on senior management and executive recruitment costs by advertising online.

The CBI is to offer companies the chance to save on executive recruitment costs by advertising online.

The employers organisation is offering its member firms reduced rates for executive recruitment advertising, the result of a new partnership with online recruitment specialists executivesontheweb.com

Companies will be able to save up to 50 per cent on advertising senior positions, providing a cost-effective alternative to print media.

The service will be run by executivesontheweb.com and offers multi-language access to thousands of registered, UK and European executive candidates.

Digby Jones, CBI Director-General, said: Advertising can be one of the biggest costs for companies when recruiting senior staff. The web has a tremendous reach, presenting great possibilities for recruitment and firms should take full advantage. We believe this cost effective service can help businesses of all sizes find the right man or woman for the job."

Full details of the offer are available on the CBI website, www.cbi.org.uk
