Take space exploration to your desktop with Space Station Manager
Mistaril has released Space Station Manager, an exciting building and simulation game for Windows. The objective is to build a manned space station flying in a low orbit around Earth. Players move, dock and rotate modules to design their custom 3D layouts or modify one of the stations included in the game. The program simulates the production and flow of resources like energy, thermal control and life support. Use of visual layers makes the detailed calculations accessible for players of all ages. The different modules are inspired by current designs for the International Space Station. The Earth is rendered using real planetary data available from NASA.
Whether you're a parent who wants to entertain your children with a challenging game while teaching them critical thinking skills, a teacher who wants a fun way to introduce students to the challenges of science, or a computer user who needs to take relaxing breaks from your day-to-day work, Space Station Manager delivers.
Mistaril supports Space Station Manager with an online forum that enables players to exchange game related content and give feedback on future improvements.
Space Station Manager runs under Windows 98, Me, 2000, and XP and requires a Pentium II with 256MB of RAM and a DirectX 8.1 compatible 3D Video Card.
Space Station Manager is priced at $24.95 USD and is available from Mistaril Ltd., Etelainen Hesperiankatu 4, 00100 Helsinki, Finland. Web: http://www.mistaril.com. E-mail: player-support@mistaril.com
