ORACLE VERSION OF SEQUEST TECHNOLOGIES' TIER® WORKFLOW AND BILLING/AR GOES LIVE

TriCounty Mental Health Services, a long time TIER® clinical system user, has Sequest develop an Oracle version of their Workflow and Billing Modules.

TriCounty Mental Health Services, a long time TIER® clinical system user, approached Sequest Technologies with a need for an Oracle integrated clinical and billing package in 2002. The migration of the TIER® MS SQL Server product required an extensive development effort by Sequest Technologies Development Services. The project was not only far-reaching; it also had a Go Live" date of January 1, 2003.

The project team consisted of many resources on both sides - Sequest Technologies and TriCounty Mental Health. Holiday schedules and all the customary obstacles challenged initial rollouts in the IS system development including communication, documented expectations, financial and timeline pressures.

The scope of this project along with the extremely aggressive timeline was a sizable challenge that required a team effort and continues to be in the finishing phases today. The Sequest project team has been reduced, but team meetings are still held and communication is at least weekly."

TriCounty went live with the newly created Oracle Workflow System in January 2003. The project grew to include data migration, staff conversion, and general ledger interfaces.
