MegaStrip 9600 & CableCoiler 4000

Heavy-Duty Cable Processing System

The heavy-duty and powerful MegaStrip 9600 was designed to automatically measure, cut and strip wire and cable from 22 - 4/0 AWG, cables up to 1.0" (25.4 mm) in diameter and flat ribbon cables up to 3.3" (84 mm) in width.

The MegaStrip 9600 is controlled by state-of-the-art electronics. It can be programmed using the machine's operator interface panel or via a PC with Cayman 5.1X Professional wire processing software. The cutting head is driven by powerful stepper motors that enable it to cut through even the toughest cables. With patented indexing capability, up to 4 blade pairs can be utilized to ensure the maximum processing flexibility.

The CableCoiler 4000 was designed to handle a wide range of cable diameters such as
those processed on the MegaStrip 9600. The CableCoiler 4000 is a motorized programmable cable coiling system, which coils the cable as it exits a cut and strip machine. Thanks to its flexibility, easy programming and ergonomic handling, the CableCoiler 4000 is a perfect solution to improve the production rate as well as efficiency in a production line.

The CableCoiler 4000 operates with the MegaStrip 9600 to create an integrated, heavy-duty cable processing system. The cable is fed from the MegaStrip 9600 through a feeding pipe directly to the coiler pins. The CableCoiler 4000 coils the cable synchronously to the feeding velocity of the MegaStrip 9600. After the coiling process, the coiler pins retract and the safety cover opens. The coiled cable can be easily unloaded from the machine.
