Local Artist Produces A Super Hero Comic Book For His Home Town
Here at last. Martinsburg's own Super Hero Comic Book. Comic book artist Dustin Catlett is finally living out his dream of publishing a monthly title. Every issue is distributed as an insert by the Martinsburg Journal and given to 20,000 people in Berkeley and Jefferson county, West Virginia for Free.
The cost of production is covered by advertisers. The title "Relic Of Power," was released on September 9th in the Martinsburg Journal. Starting on October 1st, it will be on-line for the world to read for free at www.evercross.com.
The story is about an ancient Relic called the Peace Maker. It had a power that caused civilizations to come together in perfect harmoney and unity. Then the people broke the relic in half in order to generate peace to other civilizations. But instead, it broke the peace that man-kind had. The two halves now had the power to do anything while separated whether it be good or evil. In local present day Martinsburg, one half of the relic will be found by two 15 year old teenagers. And they have no idea that their life is about to change.
