XemiComputers (http://www.xemico.com/) has released new version of its flagship product, Active Desktop Calendar, personal information manager for Windows that displays data on the desktop and features interactive desktop interface.
Improvements to the program are significant. It comes with brand new user interface, enhanced alarms, more recurrence patterns for both notes and alarms and displays calendar with up to three months on the desktop. Also, large parts of the program source code were re-written to make it work more efficient.
Active Desktop Calendar is fully customizable. There are options for changing calendar icons, fonts and colors, marking weekdays of choice and marking dates with notes and/or alarms. Text only version of the calendar is also available.
If interactive desktop option is enabled the program accepts direct clicks on dates, notes and tasks displayed on the desktop. You can set each note to have normal, private or invisible desktop view. The program comes with its own screensaver that displays desktop wallpaper with the real time clock.
