Boston (BOOTH #315) (PRWEB) - September 15, 2003 - Parvus® Corporation of Salt Lake City, Utah today announced the launch of its SpacePC® line of PC/104 and PC/104-Plus CPU boards with a free product evaluation for designers of embedded computer systems. The initial SpacePC product line includes six x86 (Intel®) compatible processor cards, ranging in speed from 40MHz (3x86) to 300MHz (Pentium® class). An ultra low-power 800MHz Pentium® III board is also slated for production later this year. Broad software support for these compact (3.550" x 3.775") single board computers (SBC) includes ROM-DOS®, QNX®, Windows 95/98®, Windows NT®, Windows CE®, VxWorks®, and Linux® drivers.

Standard interfaces include Ethernet, IDE, Floppy, USB, Serial, LCD/CRT, Sound, and PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse. Some models also integrate CAN bus controllers and digital I/O channels. Prices for standard board configurations range from approximately $200 to $500/per board in volume orders of 100+ units. Custom and extended temperature rated versions are also available.
