Have Dinner with an Author Saturday Night

Several fine Amelia Island restaurants are joining the Amelia Book Island Festival Committee to offer a special event for the 2003 festival - a Dine-With-Authors Evening.

On Saturday night, Oct. 4, many of our featured authors will be guests of these restaurants and invite you to join them for dinner. Several of the restaurants are located in the Historic District, some are waterfront and some at island resorts. The event promises to provide a relaxed evening of great food, interesting conversation and the unique opportunity to get to know an author of your choice.

We thank the following restaurants for their support. Names of authors who will be hosted at each one will be announced by Sept. 6.

Reservations are required and may be made with the participating restaurant of your choice beginning Sept. 6. Dinner seating will be at 7:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

You may order from the restaurants full menu and are responsible for your own food and beverage charges.

Please notify the restaurant well in advance if you will be unable to honor your reservation, as we expect the restaurants to be very busy that night.
