As with the first series, cast members were recruited on the internet, performed their parts on their home computers, and delivered them to writer/creator Robert Parson, who edited them into completed episodes. Most of the cast members from the first series have returned, with the addition of a few others. The internet allowed international barriers to be broken, with cast members scattered throughout the globe.

Several of the actors also voiced secondary and non-recurring roles.

This is the third time Dodge and Bolon have been involved in productions from Newsbob Industries. In addition to revisiting their roles from the first series of Ambassador Service," they also appeared in Invasive Species," an audiothriller set on the Great Lakes.
