Ryan-Biggs Associates Engineer Authors Article for Leading Engineering Publication

Troy, NY -- September 18, 2003 -- Michael C. Miller, P.E. of Ryan-Biggs Associates, P.C., in Troy, New York, recently authored an article titled, Scaffolding...A Designers Guide" for Structure magazine, a leading engineering publication. The article, which focuses on the importance of proper scaffolding design and construction for new building and restoration projects, appeared in the September 2003 issue.

Scaffolding, commonly seen covering the walls of new construction projects and restorations, is a crucial tool that ensures a safe working environment and can be a key component to a successful project outcome. Addressing the need for clear, concise practices and applications of scaffolding design, Mr. Miller has outlined in his article specific issues of importance to structural engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the proper usage of scaffolding.
   
Structure magazine is an international publication which focuses on structural engineering and issues concerning construction materials, methods, design, and analysis techniques for buildings, bridges, and special and unique structures. The magazine has a readership of approximately 30,000.
