GLOBAL JOURNALIST RE-LAUNCHES WEB SITE

Veteran writer relaunches web site for endurance sports articles, newsletters, e-books and pertinent links.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Journalist James Raia, who has reported on sporting events around the world and interviewed athletes ranging from Lance Armstrong to Jack Nicklaus, has relaunched his web site.

The web site, ByJamesRaia.com (http://www.byjamesraia.com), includes six main sections: running, cycling, golf, cars, travel and leisure and best of the rest.

The site also features the publisher's two free electronic newsletters, Endurance Sports News and Tour de France Times, and his e-books, How To Run & Enjoy The Marathon, and The Tour Within The Tour de France.

For more than 20 years, Raia, 48, of Sacramento, Calif., has travelled worldwide to report on unique events -- the Tour de France to the World Cross Country Championships and the Winter Olympics to the World Cycling Championships.

As a recreational endurance athlete, Raia has also completed nearly 70 marathons and ultramarathons.

The various sections of his site not only include articles about running and cycling, but showcase other newspaper and magazine articles on subjects from vintage wristwatch collecting to a profile of a Luxembourg bar owner.

The site also includes new car reviews, travel articles and links to favorite web sites.
