BAYM Computer Genesis to Feature Guest Instructors from GEs Information Management Leadership Program
BAYM's Computer Genesis Introduction to Computers course will feature guest instructors from General Electric's Information Management Leadership Program.
BAYM's Computer Genesis Introduction to Computers course teaches young people to use and troubleshoot computers. It consists of two phases designed to guide students from basic PC literacy and technician skills, to an introduction to the world of business and job readiness skills. Upon completion students are rewarded with a PC.
This fall, the exciting program will feature guest instructors from General Electric's Information Management Leadership Program. The instructors will cover topics such as Computer Technology and Internet History, Microsoft Windows and Office, PC Hardware Assembly, and Job Interviewing Skills. The students will also have the opportunity to put their new skills to use through Project Based Learning.
