Fall 2003 Govt Marketing Best Practices seminar dates announced

The most popular seminar about marketing to the government is back on the road. Topics addressed include web tactics, direct marketing, PR strategy, event selection and marketign and more. This seminar has attracted over 650 attenders since the first session in March, 2002.

(PRWEB) September 19, 2003 --Amtower & Company, the leading marketing advisory firm for companies targeting government business, today announced two Fall, 2003 dates for their popular "Government Marketing Best Practices" seminar:
October 21 in Vienna, Virginia and October 23 in Newton (Boston), Massachusetts.

The 3½ hour seminar attracted over 600 attenders at since the first session in March, 2002. This session "is designed to help any company understand how Federal buyers are influenced and to develop a mix of tactics that suits their product or service, and deliver within their budget constraints.," said Mark Amtower. "It is delivered in a half-day format for several reasons", according to Amtower. "First, I've always delivered lots of content in short sessions, but more importantly, fewer people are interested in spending an entire day at any seminar".

"Interest in the government market has never been higher" according to Amtower. "While other segments of the economy are suffering, Fortune One (Uncle Sam) continues to grow and attract even more participants. Subsequently, there is a need for companies to enter the market intelligently, with their eyes opened. I've helped hundreds of companies
make money in this market."

"We've seen a growing demand for this type of seminar that goes beyond
the generic budget overviews and sales pitches from publications, which are usually the only 'seminars' to make it out of the Washington, DC area.," commented Amtower. "This is an action-content based seminar, giving our attenders information they can use immediately and integrate into their ongoing marketing program."

The seminar has been presented in fifteen cities around the U.S. in 2003. Each seminar is conducted by Mark Amtower, a 20-year government marketing veteran who has personally consulted with hundreds of executives on all aspects of the government market. Among these are executive from Fortune 100 companies as well as start-ups, and
everything in between. Mr Amtower also published the free e-newsletter, The Amtower B2G Market Report, which is read by thousands every week.

Complete information on the seminar, including dates, venues and costs, can be found at www.FederalDirect.net.
