Midland, MI (PRWEB) September 20, 2003 --The Early Learning Toolkit (ELT) Version 2.0 (pre-K -- 3rd grade) will be available for PC users October 6 and available November 3 for Mac platforms. The new version keeps to the Simple" theme, but adds many new tools and activities.

ELT provides young learners with six different applications all in one program. The activities in each application can be customized to the specifics of each child depending on skill level and age. The award winning ELT is also being sought for the instruction of special needs children.

The newest version of ELT now allows the child or teacher to customize the tools in the 2Paint and 2Publish applications. The felt-tip markers, the trademark of Version 1.5, can now be replaced with a fill tool, a spray can, and five shape tools and the option of more colors. 2Publish now has 18 different activities to choose from, whereas Version 1.5 had only 12.

2Paint along with 2Publish now have the ability to right-click" to import or cut and paste items. ELT version 2.0 now allows older children, or more advanced children, the ease of using the applications as they would with any publishing or painting program. Also in 2Paint and 2Publish, classes now have the option of publishing their work to a class or school website.

The math and graphing applications have also been upgraded. 2Count now allows the child or teacher to import or create his or her own images for the use in a pictogram. 2Go, which teaches plotting and coordinating, now has a program" feature that allows the child to program directional coordinates and determine the end result by providing direction and movement.
