Spaghettilearning 1.0 has been released, it is the free open source elearning platform.

Eleven months after the begin of this project, the free open source elearning platform has been relesed into 1.0 definitive version.

(PRWEB) September 20, 2003 --An intensive phase for the functionality and the interface improve, and also the platform stability, this during the last 11 months.
The functionaly already active, at this moment are:
MULTILANGUAGE (five the languages supported: Italian, English, Finn, German, Spanish)
-formulations and monitoring of the user activity
-lesson area support, and it can contain multimediale files, too
-management of tests based on models devoloped by psicology department of Parma University
-a system of interaction with the teacher - based on chat and forum

Original team has not changed (Claudio Erba, Fabio Pirovano, Andrea Braghi), but now they are joined with: Parma University,
American, Norwegians, Belgian, Brazilians Developers. We have not to forget that the platform is used by several university, not
only in Otaly but in all Europe, and by superior institutes in the USA.

Futur projects:
-Audio/Video conference and shared blackboard
-Support and international standard certification AICC/SCORM
-Platform visualization on mobiles GPRS, UMTS and palmari
-Support instruments for learning collaborative and social learning
-Support instruments for telemedicine, medical instruction and ECM
