Haskell employee answers questions on law, safety
Haskell Co. employee is available to media to answer questions on architectural and engineering licensing law and building safety design.
JACKSONVILLE, FL (PRWEB) September 20, 2003 --Some might say his 24-year affair with law and safety make him a perfect source.
Dave Engdahl, Haskell senior vice president, is available to answer any media questions about architectural and engineering licensing law and building safety design.
Engdahl, who is a licensed architect in 34 states and a licensed interior designer, has continually worked in both areas since his start at Haskell in 1979.
In fact, when it comes to safety design, hes in charge of assuring the quality and safety of Haskell projects in addition to managing corporate standards.
Also, Engdahl literally wrote the book on A/E licensing law --or at least the chapter.
He was asked to write the chapter on licensing for the American Institute of Architects Architects Guide to Design-Build Services."
This was no small matter," he said, laughing, Since I had to research the different architectural laws in the 50 states."
Engdahl received his bachelors in architecture from Penn State University and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is also a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certified architect.
Engdahls availability as a source for the media is part of a larger Haskell program called EXPERTise, which was created to provide expert sources for local, state and national news media stories. Additional sources for other design, construction and engineering questions can be found at www.thehaskellco.com/expertise.asp.
Haskell is recognized as one of the nations leading design-build and construction management firms with annual revenues of $650 million. Haskell maintains operations throughout the United States and Latin America and is headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla. More information can be found at www.thehaskellco.com
