zipRealty kicked off its corporate community involvement program by participating in the California Coastal Clean Up at the Richmond Shoreline.

The California Coastal Cleanup Day is an annual volunteer event focused on the marine environment. Each year, more than 40,000 volunteers turn out to over 400 cleanup sites statewide. Since the program started in 1985, over 552,000 Californians have removed almost 8.5 million pounds of debris from the state's shorelines and coast.

In addition to zipRealty volunteer efforts at the Richmond Shoreline, Entrepreneurs Foundations participating companies and their employees will join in volunteer efforts in San Francisco, Hayward, Foster City, Palo Alto and Los Gatos.
